Who They Are
Alexander Jewellery is a family-run boutique jeweller and timepiece specialist on East Street in the heart of Chichester, West Sussex. Built on a philosophy of “Obtainable Elegance,” they offer handcrafted fine jewellery, coloured gemstone pieces and luxury watches across a wide range of price points, alongside a full in-house service: bespoke jewellery design, engagement rings, redesigns of treasured family pieces, jewellery and watch repairs, pearl re-stringing and ring re-sizing. As an independent, in-store jeweller with no e-commerce, their reputation is built on personal service and craftsmanship — and they needed a website to match.

The Challenge
What Alexander Jewellery Wanted
As a traditional bricks-and-mortar jeweller, Alexander Jewellery had no online home that reflected the quality of their in-store experience. They needed a modern, mobile-friendly WordPress website that would carry their “Obtainable Elegance” brand online, showcase their bespoke jewellery design, watch servicing and repair work to customers across Chichester and West Sussex, and be genuinely easy to keep up to date. With more shoppers now discovering local jewellers online and through AI assistants, the site also had to be built on clean, crawlable foundations with AI-crawler visibility in mind from day one.
We are regularly contacted by people wishing to upgrade our website and its incredibly difficult to know whom to trust.

Direct Launch designed and built a bespoke WordPress website for Alexander Jewellery from the ground up — a clean, fully responsive design that puts their handcrafted jewellery, watches and bespoke services front and centre and works seamlessly on mobile. To future-proof their visibility, we added a custom `llms.txt` setup so AI search tools and crawlers can clearly understand and surface the business. Backed by an ongoing website maintenance plan, the site stays secure, current and fast — leaving the team free to focus on their customers instead of their website.
